Events

Events are the core of EQRT. They are the way that you can schedule raids, track attendance, and manage loot.

Almost everything in EQRT is tied to an event in some way. Events can have different types and can be set to repeat on a weekly cadence.

This is useful for guilds that have a regular raid schedule.

Event types​

There are three types of events in EQRT:

  • Raid - A raid is a large group of players that are working together to defeat a boss or bosses.
  • Non-RA granting Raids - These are raids that do not grant raid attendance credit, but are not necessarily open world events.
  • Open world - Open world events are events that are not instanced.

Creating an event​

Navigate to the Events page and click the Create + button on the top left hand side of the page .

Now you can fill out the title of the event, choose the date and start time of the event along with a brief description.

You can select “Raid”, “Open World”, or "Raid No-RA" from the drop-down to determine the type of event. Finally, if the event is repeatable, you can toggle that option on as well.

Setting the event to repeat is a great way to automate your raid schedule !
